A former Biologist, Jo still delights in working from observation in all drawing media, water-based paint and pastel, but she also loves to explore colour playfully. The more playful approaches begin rooted in observation before evolving into imaginative and abstract works. Favoured subjects are natural forms, decaying buildings and landscape; anything in a state of change or that sparks Jo’s imagination.

Jo exhibits regularly with the Society of Graphic Fine Art, at the Mall Galleries, London. She also continues to tutor lively painting sessions at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts, Maidenhead and at Eton Wick.
