Emma Major

Emma Major is an artist, poet, author and blind wheelchair user. She never thought of herself as creative, even as an engineer and then as a children’s and family minister. After losing almost all her eye sight she started painting digitally using the huge magnification of an iPad. Ever since she has painted every day and shared her art, alongside her poetry, online. Emma’s paintings accompany her poetry on subjects including disability, mental health, faith, climate change and the world around us. Her paintings are regularly exhibited around the UK and hung in spaces around the world as well as illustrating her poetry books. You can find Emma online at LLMCalling.com or on social media @emmuk74 where she shares her artwork and poetry to encourage, bless and affirm people.

In this short video Emma shows you how accessible her studio space is. This will help you plan your visit. You are assured of a warm welcome whether you have specific access requirements or not! https://youtu.be/0qcfGK91cYw
