Lisa Binnie
At Binnie Pottery, we create handmade ceramics for the home, focusing on functional pieces designed to be both used and admired. Most items are wheel-thrown, though we also hand-build tiles and porcelain decorations. Our studio is a hub of experimentation, from working with a variety of clays and firing techniques to mixing our own glazes and slips. Recently, we’ve delved into raku firing, adding sculptural variety to our work.
Collaboration and teaching are at the heart of what we do; we help to organise ceramic events and lessons, nurturing not only our own artistic growth but also sharing our passion for clay with others. Our studio is open for visitors to explore, get hands-on with clay, and gain new skills. With over 20 years of throwing experience, we help potters of all levels thrive during our pottery lesson blocks and pottery experiences.
We look forward to welcoming you!
